Suspicious Partner- K-Drama

The drama aired in May 2017 and had 4o episodes. It was quite big for a normal drama but was worth it. The cast was the well known Hallyu star Ji Chang Wook along with Nam Ji Hyun. Choi Tae Joon and Kwon Nara were the side characters.
I FELL FOR THE VILLIAN. No kidding. More than the main leads, the villain's acting was superb. He was the perfect psychopath I had ever seen. This drama is one of the best crime - thriller ever made. (Point of view from an outsider.)

BONG HEE:
Let's take a moment to appreciate Nam Ji Hyun's visuals. Her part as Bong Hee is the best one so far. She is so consistent in the drama that it is cute. Also knows Taekwondo. Which is new. It is rare to see girls in kdrama as some athlete persons unless the drama is based on that theme.
Her struggles are real as well- being a lawyer charged with murder and stuff. Sometimes one feels pity for her. However, the character in the drama is portrayed as super naïve and innocent to the point that sometimes she looks dumb. She is always dependent on Ji Wook for help. That was kinda sad. If she has a character bolder, it would have been the best drama ever.

JI WOOK:
No idea why his name in the drama is so similar to his real name. But… This guy has some amazing role. I mean what did you expect of Ji Chang Wook. Come On! After his roles as spy and agents in his most famous dramas, this was a change for him. To see him as a Lawyer/Prosecutor was kinda exciting. His role is quite dynamic in the drama. One second he is a rude boss next second he is cute and mushy. The best scenes are of his getting angry.
He is like a volcano. One mistake and he erupts.
When that happens I promise you, he has a bright future in the rap industry. From cold to a sweetheart, he is just like a switch button
Nonetheless, his character is very smart and intelligent. He is also a bit submissive to Bong Hee's requests but he is the best boss someone can get.

SECOND LEADS:
Tae Joon, Tae JOON, TAE JOON. I CAN'T GET OVER HIM. He is the craziest adorable actor in the industry. He has given a new meaning to bromance here. Whenever he gets scolded by Wook, we all are internally consoling him. He is such a baby. His happy attitude is constant no matter what. He just never gives up on Wook.

PLOT:
Thriller +
Comedy+
Romance+
Drama+
Perfect+
I personally did not find any message in the drama. Also, these kinds of dramas are not made for messages. But I loved it. Any day would rewatch it.

The Lost Art

I was introduced to the world of spirituality and healing after I turned 20. I have always been a firm believer in supernatural beings and the divinity; however, I do not support idol worship. I believe there is a central power responsible for the working of this universe and it can be moulded in any clay with any name and any religion a human desires. The world of spirituality, however, is always confused with that of religion. There is no such relation between the two. One can be spiritual and non-religious. I developed this distinction between them last January when I met with a Brazilian spiritual healer. She explained to me the difference between the two with much ease. She also opened me to the cosmic world and its energies. "The easiest and surest way to tap into the cosmic energy around you is Intuition" she explained. Her way of reading the intuition was through Zen stones and stone charms. She used this intuition to help herself and others who asked for her ad...

An Idea to Believe In

Kunal has always been a restless child. Studying for him was something he never planned on to do. So even after graduating from high school and giving his board examination, he didn't plan on doing engineering. Unlike his elder brother who did engineering got a job in an MNC and is settled abroad with a ransom salary, Kunal was nothing compared to him. At the age of 18, he declared at home that he is quitting his engineering coaching. Engineering and Medical coaching is a trend in a small industrial town like Jamshedpur. With the literacy rate of 99 %, Jamshedpur boasts a high number of students enrolling into medical and engineering colleges. The situation has become so intense that 8 out of 10 students will opt for one of the two. Kunal wasn't interested in the trend, he enrolled for a diploma and said he wanted to do something of his own. So he did. He is one of the local entrepreneurs the city has seen. Even though Jamshedpur is an industrial city and very few entreprene...
