The Lost Art

I was introduced to the world of spirituality and healing after I turned 20. I have always been a firm believer in supernatural beings and the divinity; however, I do not support idol worship. I believe there is a central power responsible for the working of this universe and it can be moulded in any clay with any name and any religion a human desires.
The world of spirituality, however, is always confused with that of religion. There is no such relation between the two. One can be spiritual and non-religious. I developed this distinction between them last January when I met with a Brazilian spiritual healer. She explained to me the difference between the two with much ease. She also opened me to the cosmic world and its energies. "The easiest and surest way to tap into the cosmic energy around you is Intuition" she explained. Her way of reading the intuition was through Zen stones and stone charms. She used this intuition to help herself and others who asked for her advice.
Last May, I was introduced to a Tarot card reader by coincidence. I believe it was the best coincidence that ever happened. The Tarot reader belonged to a Catholic Christian family from Kerala. Having spent most of her life in Dubai, when she came back to India she needed guidance about her fleeting emotions which she got through her Tarot cards.
For those wondering what Tarot cards are there are a deck of 78 cards with their imagery, symbolism and story. 22 Major Arcana cards are representing Karmic and spiritual lessons and 56 Minor Arcana cards representing experiences and proving guidance. All the cards are divided into four suits which are: Wands, Swords, Pentacles and Cups. Tarot cards are used for various uses. Some people believe that the cards tell fortune. Some people believe tarot cards are used by witches for voodoo and spells. Some go to the extent that they relate these cards to occults and Satanic worship which was prevalent majorly in Scotland and northern France. The cards first made by Antoine Court de Gébelin (Throth Tarot) were based on Egyptian symbols and looked artistically dark. This scared people into believing that the cards could summon demons. The three most common decks are Tarot of Marseilles, Rider-Waite tarot and Throth tarot deck. It was only after the Jean-Baptiste Alliette published his Waite that, tarots were used as divination tools. After that, the cards evolved to something similar to playing cards and the old Egyptian art of tuning into intuition was forgotten by the younger generations. Even today, only ten out of 100000 are aware of this long lost art. Only a small population of people can hack the trick of this art and perform it with elegance. Most of the people who claim to do so are meretricious. It is not the years of expertise or meditation but peace of mind and oneness with the cosmos that enables a person to be able to read the message from the invisible world. Every human has the ability in them to be psych and understand and interpret these signals, however, the ignorance of the people to the cosmos have disabled them to open their mind outside what they see from their minds. Some scholars argue that humans who believe in religion and are devoted to God are also unable to practice art. Surprisingly, everyone forgets the fact that they have restricted their minds into believing into an identity which they can perceive and worship is the sole reason they can’t connect to the other part of the world. Most people who practice idol worship have already accepted a form of divinity in the Idol. This bars them from a bigger realization.
Even though being a Hindu, I am attracted to this old mystical art of Intuition. The cards are only a vehicle to draft the intuitive thoughts. The cards do not belong to any religion as every religion has its way of predicting the cosmic messages. It is only the messages of the universe which are important. Be it the Hindu Astrology, Taoist Numerology, Buddhist Palmistry or Christian Tarots. These are different ways of reading indications sent passed through the cosmic ways in and around us. I was perplexed when I discovered that such a world existed and we are only a very small part of it. Every living being that exists is there for a reason. That reason is to realize the bigger world around us and be one with it.
Sometimes I wonder how the early people could harvest such energy with so less guidance. It’s so mysterious that there exist ways with which we can perceive things that scientists think are illusionary.
If only man could harness this power in the current situation, maybe we could all be saved from the disaster waiting for us ahead. In recent research, the scientist had predicted there some light waves in the form of signals travelled from far away and hit the earth. They also clarified that these signals looked like some type of SOS messages sent from an unknown planet or galaxy maybe even a new universe. There are so many possibilities that it cannot be written down, only if someone knew how to tap into the knowledge of the cosmos we could get to know our universe works.
In the earlier days, many Indian and Taoist monks had seemed to have had acknowledged and tapped into the greater energy and obtain Nirvan. But in recent days, unlike the common thought, it would be rather easier to tap into the cosmos. With the current advancement in the technology and the usage of the human brain, hope still lingers.

Suspicious Partner- K-Drama

The drama aired in May 2017 and had 4o episodes. It was quite big for a normal drama but was worth it. The cast was the well known Hallyu star Ji Chang Wook along with Nam Ji Hyun. Choi Tae Joon and Kwon Nara were the side characters. I FELL FOR THE VILLIAN. No kidding. More than the main leads, the villain's acting was superb. He was the perfect psychopath I had ever seen. This drama is one of the best crime - thriller ever made. (Point of view from an outsider.)   BONG HEE: Let's take a moment to appreciate Nam Ji Hyun's visuals. Her part as Bong Hee is the best one so far. She is so consistent in the drama that it is cute. Also knows Taekwondo. Which is new. It is rare to see girls in kdrama as some athlete persons unless the drama is based on that theme. Her struggles are real as well- being a lawyer charged with murder and stuff. Sometimes one feels pity for her. However, the character in the drama is portrayed as super naïve and innocent to the point that sometimes sh...

An Idea to Believe In

Kunal has always been a restless child. Studying for him was something he never planned on to do. So even after graduating from high school and giving his board examination, he didn't plan on doing engineering. Unlike his elder brother who did engineering got a job in an MNC and is settled abroad with a ransom salary, Kunal was nothing compared to him. At the age of 18, he declared at home that he is quitting his engineering coaching. Engineering and Medical coaching is a trend in a small industrial town like Jamshedpur. With the literacy rate of 99 %, Jamshedpur boasts a high number of students enrolling into medical and engineering colleges. The situation has become so intense that 8 out of 10 students will opt for one of the two. Kunal wasn't interested in the trend, he enrolled for a diploma and said he wanted to do something of his own. So he did. He is one of the local entrepreneurs the city has seen. Even though Jamshedpur is an industrial city and very few entreprene...
